Last Sunday, I was lucky enough to be invited at SM City Cagayan de oro SM Stylistas event which highlights 6 clothing company such as Bench, Folded & Hung, Human, Maldita, and I forgot the two others. Please leave a comment for the other one if you knew it.

IMG_9302 [800x600]I was overwhelmed by the models and their talents. They definitely did a good job in the catwalk. Hmmm, Me and my camera were busy capturing all the good angles I could have however I was a bit upset because I was having a difficulty in shooting in low light [I shouldn't have lost my speedlite !:(] IMG_9518 [800x600]Thanks to Rhonson Ng for the tips which he had shared the day before the event at Grand Caprice.

The event was a great experience for me as I am a photography newbie. I was able to practice in taking a good shoot, composition, angles, camera handling and a lot more. Wow! that was fun and a great avenue for enhancing my creative photography skills  (as if I have one! LOL).

I also had the opportunity to meet people like Mike Sia, the one who invited me to the SM Stylistas event, Jasper, Inez, Bianca, Jet, Claire, Jessa, and some of the models. I glad I met you guys.

I thought I couldn’t coped up with a different work schedule. My body clock finally adjusted to it. (whew! pati mag english lisud d i noh basta dugay ka maka post og utro)

While I was busy on some other things, I’ve had an ample of time to point and shoot things that bothers me which enabled me to advance my skills in using my digital camera. I learned that photography is not that simple point and shoot any subjects you want you have to think of something creative that has a drama in the scene which draws attention to the viewer’s perspective.

From now on, I will be posting all the photos I took while I was off to my real world. To start with, check out this digitally enhanced photo below of my friend from Himantayon nga Kagay-anon on the rocks.  (feel na feel kaau niya dah) :D

Images were taken last Sunday, January 11, 2009. At around 9:00am in the morning on that same day, Opol Bridge collapse. It connects Cagayan de Oro and Iligan City. A lot of people were stranded on that area.

Last night I was able to watch Jollibee and the rest of the gang groovin’ and dancing. Mr. Yum, Twirlie, Hetty, Popo and of course, Jollibee was there. I’ll upload the video as soon as possible ;)
