Pinoy Fear Factor, el ultimo awatiro!

I watched Pinoy Fear Factor awhile ago and I was a bit impressed. I am not a TV fanatic. I read blogs and news online but not in the entertainment section. I usually got stuck in some tech blogs and news or any blog that talks something new about the internet and the gadget world. But a few minutes ago I wasn’t able to skip the channel (alang kay dili man ni Cable amo danhi )

Back to the tv show, Pinoy Fear Factor is the newest “franchise” reality show of ABS-CBN with the tagline “Ang buhay sa likod ng katapangan” or ‘Life behind bravery.’ The show will run from November 10, 2008 until February 2009. My look a like Ryan Agoncillo host the show. The twist on this newly frachised show is that the location was set in Buenos Aires, Argentina. 12 challengers will be competing face to face for a price of 2 Million pesos, a house and lot and the title of El Ultimo Participante.

What else do we expect? Surely a fear-centric challenge for the Pinoy challengers just like the Fear Factor reality show. ABS-CBN put “Pinoy” term in the show to emphasize that this show is a Filipino version of the reality show Fear Factor. This is not the first show based from reality tv shows abroad. To mention a few, we already have Pinoy Pop Idol, Pinoy Big Brother and Survivor Philippines. Certainly these shows that again our very own Philippine TV networks are certified awatiros!
