Ang CDO Bloggers daw awatiro?
Absolutely YES! I can absolutely say YES because they want to earn more money from their blogs like those Blog celebrities in the Pinoy Blogosphere. They are eager to know the blogging secrets from the gurus like Abe Olandres of Yugatech, Jayvee Fernandez of A bugged Life or even Janette Toral of Digital Filipino Network. Why I could say so? I’ve visited and read some of the blogs introduced at the CDO Bloggers site and I found it odd. Most of the blogs there is MFA(made for adsense) or MMB(money milking blog :D) Maybe I am wrong but still they can’t deny the fact they rarely blog about their city or promote something good.
I guess NOT! They just want to meet and greet each other. Actually there are lots of bloggers in Cagayan de Oro but unfortunately they don’t have any group until Chiq Montes initiated a meet up last November 7, 2008. According to a few blog posts I read and even a conversation I’ve had with my office mate who was there, the first CDO Bloggers meet up was success! Hooray! CDO Bloggers is ON!
Maybe. Yeah, maybe they are awatiros. They maybe jealous because during the Mindanao Bloggers Summit a large number of bloggers from Davao, Soccsksargen and even as far as Zamboanga participated the summit which showed that the blogging community of the said region is active with kick ass events. The next Mindanao Bloggers Summit is still undecided by the organizers so maybe this is one good reason for the meet up also. {Nasuya siguro na dili sikat ang CDO in Mindanao blogosphere :D} To all CDO Bloggers my question is this, Are you really into the 3rd Mindanao Bloggers Summit? Do you think you can keep up and have regular meet ups? How come only one or two blogs about your city?

this is the core reason why i wanted to initiate this move of uniting cdo bloggers. i want bloggers to know and be aware of their social responsibility.. you can’t blame them because no one tried to lay down these things to them yet.. but during the first meet-up when we discussed these things.. most were really open to this idea! so there’s hope..
and yes, i will do my very best to bring this group ready to host the Mindanao Summit. I’m sure this opportunity of being able to meet and greet other bloggers will inspire them to contribute positively to the promotion of mindanao and cagayan de oro city.
@Chiq Montes: Hi Chiq! Sorry if this post is a bit rude and murag naay pagka negative about the goals you have for CDO Bloggers. I was just expressing my different point of view. Pasensya na ha. Pero honestly, I like to join the group and personally meet you guys pero basin ma OOP lang ko kay newbie pa man ko sa blog blog oi.
Yeah I understand.. no problem with me. Wala may ma-op kay gasugod pa man and i make sure nga tanan naa chance mu-sturya or mu-share (besides, friendly man ta mga taga cagayan dba?) .. so I am personally inviting you gyud to come and take part.. para u get to see na it’s not too late man to raise awareness sa mga bloggers sa cdo .. kailangan lang gyud naa mag-ingon sa ilaha.
just like sa first meet-up.. almost everybody nga nag attend nga naay mga blogs made a post about it.. (daghan man sad gud nag-attend nga wala pay blogs but are interested). so it’s definitely a good sign!
btw, naa meet-up tomorrow.. for brainstorming purposes! skypark lkks. 6:30 pm. try to join us!! and do introduce urself to me if ever. i look forward to meeting u tomorrow or in the future meet-ups!

I envy you guys in Mindanao. We don’t even have bloggers event here in Western Visayas. It’s the Cebu people who are very active. So far, it’s the forum meetups that I’ve been to and I’m happy about our little community. We’re having a gift-giving event to the home for the aged. Good luck to you, Mindanao bloggers.

I don’t think ma offend ang mga members sa CDObloggers (apil ko) anih na post, but instead ma challenge sila… ky bisag dili kami ang pirmiro, ug bisag na unhan mi ug organize gud sa uban (in short terms “awatiro” mi sa ilang na achievement), nagka ila na gyapon mi, ug nagkasinabot, ug dire nadayun mag sugod ang tanan.
I hope dre sa CDO ang next na MBS.
